The LGBA is the leading advocate for our community, representing business and property owners in a wide range of government and legislative issues affecting our district, including property zoning matters, transportation and road improvement issues, and code revisions. LGBA was an active participant in the creation of the Boones Ferry Corridor Plan and following its adoption, devoted almost five years representing the business and property owners in developing the long range plan for redevelopment: "The Lake Grove Village Center Plan."

The LGBA works proactively with the City of Lake Oswego, and partners with the Lake Oswego
Chamber of Commerce on a wide variety of community dialogues and events, including providing leadership in Chamber activities  such as the Village Flower Baskets and Annual Business Awards.
